There has been an e-mail circulating around the net, lately, detailing the predictions forecasted by this guy named Mr. Juseleeno Nobulega DaRoose. The other night, my mom handed me over the printed copy of this, and told me the whole idea . And before I could even flip the papers, I intantly exclaimed without hesitation, “This is a hoax, Ma!” A typical reaction from a disobedient son… wihihi!!! I proceeded anyway. This stuff really interests me… anything that talks about mysterious events, fictional and magical sightings, or simply extraordinary phenomenon… true or not, I’m ON! I live on fantasizing things, mind you… wihihihi!!!
So, I read on. I find it pretty convincing, actually. But I did not allow myself to be on total belief, immediately. The title says, “Uncanny Prophesy: What will happen to the world at 2008″ — a quick and effective way of catching readers’s attention… if you haven’t figured it out yet, the four-digit number mentioned happens to be this YEAR!!! Moving on. Now, the first part of the article basically introduces the guy who claims to have a gift of seeing things in the future: Here’s an excerpt of it:
Mr. Juseleeno Nobulega DaRoose is Brazilian, born in 1960, 47 years old now, his occupation is a teacher, he is a normal citizen, having a very poor life with his wife and kids. All the events which Mr. Juselleno predicted had clear indication of the year, month date of the disasters, incase any third party wants to confirm the facticity of his prophesy, Mr. Juselleno always put the story which he predicted to the notarization office or post office for the approval.
Somebody asked him, how old did he start the prophesy dream, he answered: 9 years old, from 1969, he dreamed 3 events a day, sometimes 9 events, the times he dreamed is different every day. He said all the prophesy dreams were automatically in his dream. When Mr. Juseleeno was 19 years old, he met the famous Brazilian prophesy Saint Mr. Franciscoshabiz, after that the worldwide disaster events were increased in his prophesy dream. Mr. Franciscoshabiz was two times the candidate for the Nobel Prize, he is a very famous differential functional person, at the same time he is also the Charitarian. The events which Mr. Juseleeno predicted are already more than 80000, firstly let’s look at below a few big worldwide events and huge disaster from his prophesy.
And for the main dish, it narrates all of the events that he has prophesied… not just the previous years and now, but stretching farther to the future, about 10 years from now. Then it entered my mind… I was doubting at the same time wondering — imagine a cloud bubble above my head at that moment wihihi!!!— “Must be partly black propaganda against China… the catastrophic events are just too coincidencial for the advent of this year’s Beijing Olympics”, “Uhmmm… maybe he was just trying to scare off national leaders of vairous powerful nations… hahaha… nice one!!!”, or “This simply just sounds absurd!” And then, I came across a very striking phrase (my mom intentionally highlighted it… grrr!!!):
2008 18th July, Philippine will get 8.1 earthquake, thousands people will die
What?! That’s “tomonth”!!! It dawned me. Is this true? This could not be. Philipines has never encountered an earthquake this strong. A magnitude like this could easily wipe out an island, if I’m not mistaken. Never have I been so affected by an article this much. I mean, crappy or not… this could happen!!! But I held on to my doubts. I argued with my mom and emphasized again and again that it was a hoax.
I made a research about this guy the next day. And after googling out his name, I found many negative reactions and opinions contradicting those of DaRoose’s… as exprected! Some say his dead… others… an alias used by another hoaxter. Hoaxy forwarded e-mails are very rampant nowadays. Be it for fun or for curious intentions, it has the same purpose… to manipulate the emotions of other people! And this time, this particular article practically injects fear to everyone in a wide scope. This has gone overboard!!!
I can’t give credible conclusions that this is, in fact, a HOAX! But it has signs it maybe is. Obviously, the article resurfaced from an e-mail message. Someone could easily make this up… you know… just inserting some convincing sources to support the contents.. and voila, you now have a viral article!!!
Still, this thing haunts me. If this really was a warning to all of us, then how can we prevent such catastrophy? Nevertheless, I prayed. I prayed that this would not happen. I prayed for my family and loved ones.
Are we really nearing the end of times? Probably. But only God knows… that’s for sure! All we need is faith, guys!

I also received the same email just now. I googled it out to find out more about it and came across blogs. Well, let’s lift this news to Jesus…and if this is the devil’s scare…then we will let Jesus silence him through our humble and fervent prayers. God is always victorious.
