Big G’s famous toolbar apps, Google Pagerank, has just bestowed this site a 2-out-of-10 page value. Wow! This came out by surprise to me. I recently learned it just today! — haha… I’m so late! The latest update was last September 27, 2008, and during that time, I didn’t bother to check how far that greenbar had reached for this blog. Well, why should I? This isn’t a commercial blog, and it’s not a popular blog either. I would care less how high or low the pagerank of this site would attain ‘coz rhardozed blog is plainly for past time… for personal fun that is.
Nevertheless, I’m still proud what this blog has achieved… to think I did not exert a considerable amount of effort to play this game — yes, I have a basic knowledge on how Google Pagerank works, and 2 is already a good value considering this isn’t one of my goals for this blog.
To give you an overview why Google Pagerank is somehow important to webmasters or ordinary bloggers for that matter, check wiki definition below:
Google PageRank results from a “ballot” among all the other pages on the World Wide Web about how important a page is. A hyperlink to a page counts as a vote of support. The PageRank of a page is defined recursively and depends on the number and PageRank metric of all pages that link to it (”incoming links”). A page that is linked to by many pages with high PageRank receives a high rank itself. If there are no links to a web page there is no support for that page.Google assigns a numeric weighting from 0-10 for each webpage on the Internet; this PageRank denotes a site’s importance in the eyes of Google. The PageRank is derived from a theoretical probability value on a logarithmic scale like the Richter Scale. The PageRank of a particular page is roughly based upon the quantity of inbound links as well as the PageRank of the pages providing the links. It is known that other factors, e.g. relevance of search words on the page and actual visits to the page reported by the Google toolbar also influence the PageRank. In order to prevent manipulation, spoofing and spamdexing, Google provides no specific details about how other factors influence PageRank.
In my case, I was able to attract other websites to link to mine, and mind you, 2 equals a good number of reliable websites with similar PR. And when you say “websites linking to you”, it only means they either like your blog or LIKE YOUR BLOG… wihihihi!
So yeah… congrats to me! Hehehe!!!

This already makes a good Christmas gift!
mao zr… pero ok lang man kung molink out ka as long as highly relevant sa imo blog. it won't harm your site. but then again, you could always refuse to accept exchange links. one-way links are better… or better yet… apply nofollow… wihihihi!!! Pero… mas ok dud ng daghan molink nmo without your knowing hehehe… keep those backlinks comin' baby!!! hehehe!
